Great templates for half-hexi quilts. I think that, with the addition of a small triangle, they would make beautiful Christmas trees. A good way to use up extra jelly roll strips. Templates are sturdy and made of high quality acrylic. Highly recommend!

This value set of thick sturdy acrylic half hexagon templates is sized across the center of the template not, along one side as hexagon are normally measured. The seam allowance is a very scant 1/4" of which I am not very fond of since, I prefer a little more seam allowance room for margin of error. The dots could be used and marked with a for accurate seam allowances on the sewing machine or by hand. They are easy to use as you can stack and cut multiple pieces of fabric or fold a piece of fabric in half, line up with the center seam allowance to cut a whole hexagon (pictured) and sew together with Y seams. The edges have some rough spots but, nothing too bad. I started with the tiniest one and with the seam allowance marked with, the use of the dots, I was surprised at how successful I was (pictured) sewing it on the machine. They are covered front and back with a protective plastic film that should be removed before using.
