HOTSTART engine heaters maintain an engine's operating temperature during downtime and serve as an excellent cold weather or emergency starting aid while eliminating needless idling. HOTSTART TPS models circulate heated coolant using the thermosiphon principal, a method of passive heat exchange which circulates a fluid without the necessity of a mechanical pump. HOTSTART TPS engine heaters provide even heat distribution resulting in reduced engine wear, quick start-ups and reduced emissions. The compact design is ideal for locations that require minimal mounting space. I have repaired and maintained emergency power systems mostly using diesel engine driven generators for over 35 years. I currently take care over 150 systems from 6KW to 750KW and have used Kim block heaters almost exclusively. I have some of them on generators still working after more than 20 years running 24/7. I highly recommend Kim.

Installed the heater when doing the fall maintenance. Heater was in new condition, installed and works as it should. I use this brand on the generators in our work fleet so I bought it for my house. I would recommend the brand and would buy from this supplier again.
