We replaced a light we had in a dark long, narrow hallway with this light and wow did we have light! We had to switch the 60w to 40w. Very pleased with this purchase. Easy to instill.

I had to ask for help installing this. Luckily my grandson was able to reach up and hold it while I stood on the ladder. I'm an older woman and my arms were getting tired. I definitely prefer this fixture to the fluorescent tube fixture I had. It is very difficult for me get to a place that will take my burned out fluorescent bulbs.My favorite thing about this fixture was that it works with a dimmer switch. Now, I can change the brightness of the light as I need it and I can change the light bulbs easier too.

I bought two of this lamps for my rental properties for the dinning room area and they look great and the quality is very good, more so for their price. They look more expensive than what I paid for since the bold is hidden inside the heads and the heads are small and modern. Also the lamps had no defects, not even one scratch. I loved them and I highly recommend them.

I was not happy with the fixture because it did not meet my needs for ambient lighting. I bought it because I thought it would look nice, but once it was installed I realized I hated the harsh shadows it cast around the room and it did not brighten the room the way I had hoped. I’m writing this review so that others can be aware of what they are buying.Another thing to consider is that the light bulbs are extremely difficult to put in and take out. They give you a suction cup to grip the light, but that just makes the faceplate of the light spin around without actually snapping the bulb into place. My fingers are raw and in so much pain from trying to twist the bulb into place. I’ll be purchasing something different.

Excellent pou illuminer ma pièce sombre! Les tiges ne sont pas ce qu’il y a de plus solides, mais comme on les place une fois comme ok veut et qu’on n’y touche plus après, ça m’est bien égal. Très bon rapport qualité prix quand on compare avec les luminaires qu’on trouve en magasins!

Ordered two of them and really no way to place the light bulbs in...the two of them are in the garbage...
