First off--I'm a King Arthur Baking fan girl, so you should know I'm a bit biased. Second---these are great spoons. The weight isn't too heavy or too light--it feels just right and feels like great quality. I like the odd size measurements -- I have a set of standard spoons (had 'em close to 20 years--so getting this set was a big deal) so these will help when I'm in a big baking project and don't have to stop and wash spoons to keep baking. Just kinda handy. I really like that the ring was attached separately--I'm not going to put all 5 on it. I think the small ones, I'll keep loose and and attach the others. PLUS, this is an easy ring to open/close so I can change my mind at any time. The shape is ideal for getting into spice jars. I prefer the look of the round ones, but this shape fits into my spice jars (even the little guy!). and Last---they are so pretty! I was a goof about taking pictures of them, but they look great and have the super cool King Arthur baking crown logo. Happy!

Great if a recipe calls for a packet of yeast but you buy it in jars. Well made and sturdy.

Perfect in that the spoon is narrow to fit into small jars & the longer handles give you better grip & control.The ring is easy to open & close. The set nests nicely to storage. Can give it a quick hand wash or clean in dishwasher.This was equipment designed by bakers for bakers, the stainless steel will give me years of use & most likely another generation. Highly recommend.

Every holiday, we gather at a friends we have know for over 20 years. They make the big holiday meals. Since everyone in my family knows how to cook, we all pitch in to help. They did not have a complete set instead they have a hodgepodge of old individual spoons from different sets.* We found it hard to cook there without a complete set of quality measuring spoons. (This purchase was self defense for me and my kids.) David just looked at them and keep turning them over and over. He and his wife both like the gift.*[I get where they are coming from--my husband and I were very poor in college. A purchase like this was a want, not a need. When you are poor student, there are no wants, only needs.]

I got one of these for my daughter and myself. She was only using the individual packets of yeast. She makes bread every week and just started making sour dough bread. She was afraid to use bulk yeast and measure it out. This measuring spoon has CB given her the confidence to buy bulk yeast now. I bought one for myself because I was told it was more accurate than regular measuring spoons. So if you are intimidated using bulk yeast buy one of these. It will build up your confidence.

l like the measuring spoons but i do not understand the hard to use ring that attaches the spoons. it is difficult for me to open and close.

I love this spoon as I buy yeast in bulk and it takes the guesswork out of measuring. It is excellent quality.
