Has a slight smell upon purchase but it quickly goes away. However, this does not affect product use. It's very comfy. It fit our 12 inch mattress even after getting a 3 inch topper. It did fit better with the topper tho but is still functional even with just the mattress. Above all it is a good value for what you get. And it's easy to wash on the washer. The zipper also is durable and hasn't been damaged in the months of use.

I bought this bed cover for my son’s new mattress. It’s durable, soft, and true to size. The quality of it is great. Anytime something gets spilled on the Master protector, it doesn’t seep through and it’s easy to wash.

I’m very happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research. The biggest concern I had with other products were that bugs were sent in the packaging (returned items) or they were defective.Recently while sleeping I woke up with bites around my leg. I got super paranoid! We had a friend bring fleas over to our home in December and recently had that same friend over (I know - dumb). Here I are the steps I took: stripped everything in my bedroom and daughters bedroom and bagged items. Pillows we’re thrown in the dryer on high heat. I Steamed the carpets and mattresses. Took apart my daughters bed frame and steamed inside the frame and did the same for mine. Then I spread Harris Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade under the carpets, over the carpets and on her bed frame. Then I spread it on her mattress. After I washed (see below for instructions) I put it on the mattress, leaving the Diatomaceous Earth On the mattress. It is non-toxic and won’t hurt you. It drys out any bugs that come into contact with it (including bed bugs). I spread the Diatomaceous Earth under her chair, under chair cushions and behind the chair. I left the Diatomaceous Earth on my carpet and under my bed for almost a week (since that is where I was getting bit) and then vacuumed it up but left it under my bed frame, under my dresser, under my carpet and under my chair. My husband says I’m going over board but I think it’s better to be safe.I unpackaged this in my laundry room and immediately washed in hot water. I tumbled dry on low heat (took 2 cycles to completely dry). It fit my mattress and my mattress pad easily. It was easy to put on, both my husband and I worked together. I also purchased a twin sized one and that I was able to put on my daughters bed by myself. It just takes one person to bring something into your home. So I view this as a precaution for the future. And yes, I will keep the Diatomaceous Earth under my bed. I also have it sprinkled under my livingroom carpet and under my couch cushions and under my couch. My daughter has a lot of play dates and our house seems to be the preferred place. This gives me peace of mind.
