I consider myself moderately handy with simple tools, but the star nuts included with these holds are very frustrating to install. They must be hammered into the holes you drill for the bolts (drill bit is included).Make sure any stray bits of wood are cleaned out of the holes prior to installation. I’d also recommend holding them with needle nose pliers instead of your fingers. Once hammered in, that’s when the fun begins.Upon tightening the bolts I had a handful of the star nuts begin to chew up the wood with their prongs and fall out. I ended up just having to hammer them back in a couple of times each, but you start thinking there’s got to be a better way.Value for the money is great. They appear sturdy in supporting our two 4 year olds. Everything you need to install is included except the drill and hammer.

We haven't got the climbing wall made with the stepping braces. They are very colorful and cute. R

These large handholds are excellent for children. Our six year old confidently climbs the treehouse climbing wall with these. Installation is easy if you have a basic set of tools.

Just installed these over the weekend to keep the kids busy in this pandemic, these are very sturdy holds that if you installed them correctly can be very strong. make sure the boards you're installing these on are no more than 2cm thick for a easy installation. I only had 4 cm thick boards so I had to drill of a good chuck of the wood off to fit the length of the bolts provided
