This clock has been great so far. Right out of the box and has been right every day. It is packed in tight fitting Styrofoam and protected very well for shipping. I took care to handle gently, because it feels like it could be fragile if man handled. The colors are great. I have been to the Black Forest clock shops, and this is fairly typical of what you would see there. The sound quality is good, the movements all are correct. The Echo part of the cuckoo can be a little distracting. We just have to get the dogs used to the bird sounds that play before the cuckoo pops out! Lol! Highly recommend the clock.

So the clock is awesome. My first purchase came with the bottom display and several paddles of the water wheel broke. It said to give the pendulum a slight push. It didn't seem to work either. So it was returned. My next clock(same one, just hoping for better luck) was all intact and worked perfect. The pendulum has a magnet and needs to be perfectly level. So the goods... are it's amazing for the price. I researched and there is nothing with dancers, wheels, adjustable cuckoo volume for this price. It's very entertaining and nice to watch and listen to. My only complaints are the clock itself is very small and my eyes are not the best so it's not much use for actual time purposes for me. I'm not sure the quality will last. It seems pretty well made but this is cheap plastic parts and not traditional with weights and such. It's wooden frame seems ok. I would recommend this clock for anyone who is looking, but doesn't want to spend 400 to 1000 bucks. It's very nice and pretty much what I expected from the advertisement.

Very fun, nicely crafted clock. The painting is done very nicely. Works well so far. Love the light sensor feature. Only minus is the cuckoo has an echo and that is kind of strange. Just one cuckoo without the echo would be better.

Very impressive quartz Cuckoo clock. Functions flawless and the price point is very good. I have traditional German Cuckoo clocks and this is very convenient for me and don't have to set the mechanical everyday. The size is a nice size and looks great as stand alone or with pictures

3rd/last update: the motor is so loud now that I have no choice but to turn it off. Thought this would last long enough to hand down to family. It didn't even last 6 months. Sadly, I Don't recommend.2nd UPDATE: 4 MONTHS OF OWNING THIS CLOCK AND THE MOTOR IS NOW BREAKING! THE MOTOR IS LOUDER THAN THE COOKOOS AND MUSIC! TOO MUCH MONEY TO WASTE, IT'S PAST THE RETURN DATE NOW.Update, there is a button on the side that you push to correct the amount of cookoos. 4 o'clock=4 pushes. Lol, easy.Wanted this clock so much for Christmas. It's beautiful, nice size, soft/loud button. Takes 3 C batteries. The pendulum is silent so you don't always hear tick tock. It does have a quiet echo cookoo after the main one.

Very nice clock! Keeps accurate time. Only thing about mine is after a little while the motor that makes the people turn started making a grinding noise. Not sure what that is all about but at least it still plays the music and still turns the people. Water wheel still works. My clock doesn't ever "sleep" I guess there is enough light from my night lamps to keep it going all night but it does not bother me or keep me awake. Overall I really love it I just wish that motor would not make that weird noise. Maybe replacing the batteries will make it quit but it is awfully soon to replace them so it must be something else.

We bought this cuckoo clock for our anniversary present. The clock looks amazing on the wall and keeps very accurate time! We enjoy the sounds of the clock but you can turn the sound down or off. Another nice feature is the clock has a light sensor so when it gets dark, it will not make any noise! I highly recommend this clock.
