I bought these to hang cafe curtains on the bottom half of my windows that I open and close periodically. I had bought ones that looked just like them but were slightly smaller at $5 apiece. The expensive ones don’t grip tightly and the curtains keep falling off. I feel like an idiot for spending so much money. I love these inexpensive ones and highly recommend. They do a much better job of gripping the fabric and look just as good.

They do not hold the fabric! They may hold very thin, weightless fabric, but in ours, all the rings slid up and the fabric fell to the floor.

Boy did I feel silly when I couldn’t figure out these rings. I was trying to pry them open. Don’t do that. Thanks to a video on this page I saw that all you need to do is squeeze the circle part to make the claws at the bottom open. Then they easily pinch the fabric. I could see this to be difficult for someone with arthritis etc but otherwise, fairly easy. They should have instructions for people like me lol. These are nice looking rings, perfect for my cafe curtains.
