I love the simple design. Setup only required placing in on the edge of my desk. It is minimal, but very sturdy. I use it to hang my hefty laptop bag under my desk while in the office instead of plopping it onto the floor. It includes a thin foam pad beneath the top surface which keeps it from sliding and making a clangy noise when in contact with my wood desk top. The black finish is very nice and doesn't look out of place in my office. The hook stays in place nicely and has lots of grip on the desk surface when it is supporting weight underneath. However, when unloaded, it is easy to displace it or knock it out of place. I plan to drill a hole and install a small countersink screw in the top surface to keep it stationary while not it use and while removing my bag from the hook.

The only reason I don’t leave 5 starts is the hook comes off the desk when I remove my purse, otherwise it works perfectly and holds my somewhat heavy purse, I no longer have to leave on top of my desk or place on the floor when I have to step away from my desk

Very simple and does its job, I like that the hook park is "deep" so that my backpack doesn't stick out past the desk too much. Unfortunately, my desk is too thin so that the hook doesn't stay on the desk when I remove my backpack or try to hook it on. So I need to use two hands to hook and unhook, but it's not a deal breaker. It 100% does it job, though I would be nervous using it for cups or other fragile items since a nudge could make the hook fall off.

These hooks are made from a thick metal. They can hold heavy bags and other assorted things easily. They have a padded design on the "shelf" side of the hook to keep from damaging surfaces. You have to use this with a thick shelf though, because the hook can't hold onto thinner surfaces. I also thought it was a strange design choice that I received one black and one white hook.

These are decent bag hooks. They do slide off the table pretty easily if you grab your bag quickly, so I'm going to put some double sided tape on the underside to help it stay put. Otherwise, they do as advertised. Not fancy, but serviceable. Pretty sturdy and seem like they can hold a pretty heavy bag. It holds my backpack with my laptop in it.

These are the perfect, inexpensive solution for portable hooks. I need to display tote bags that our group is selling at a book sale. We are using the plastic tables, and these don’t quite fit in the thickest part, but fit in the thinner side part. Since they are metal, they have some flexibility in bending without breaking. I tried one on my kitchen counter which is 1 3/8â€, and I could jam it on. On thinner tabletops with trim underneath, the hook doesn’t push all the way on but it stays put and holds bags! So in three different examples of fit, the hooks still worked to hold bags. They also have adhesive strips inside for a more permanent attachment. I will try these out at the book sale this week; to me it seems like an excellent, simple, cost effective solution!

These are made of very solid, thick metal. The only issue is that the bend portion is quite wide and not very deep so they are not secure on a thinner table. They do have some cushiony stuff inside the bend to help them grip and to keep them from scratching. They are well made and small enough to be used in different ways.

These did not fit on my desk, the surface of my work space is too thick for them, which is too bad. Be sure to measure the thickness carefully as they are not adjustable
