These work real nice for a 2 (two) knobs (handle) "SHOWER" When your DELTA brand fails ya ! A great tip is to use a dab of plumbers grease to make the spring and rubber seal sticky enough to hold the parts, not only together but throw enough at em to make them sticky enough that they will remain seated while you are putting things together. When the water is turned on after the repair is done the water will blow all the grease out . BE SURE TO PAY ATTENTION TO;: little details about how things line up when you are taking your existing parts out, but don't sweat the the petty stuff, instead pet the sweaty stuff as your reward for a job well done !2 things to note ;The small diameter of the spring goes in the tiny rubber seal. The flat sides on the stems turn in towards the water spout .If you are like me and born with only two hands and not three it's very helpful to figure out a way to light up the dark hole you will be working in .Find something that will help guide you in with the seal and spring greased together with the larger diameter of the spring greased enough to make it stick in the brass housing so that it stays in place while you reinstall the stem . I used 2 small size long arm allen wrenches, one to carry the spring and seal to the position and the second allen wrench to position and hold the spring and seal in place . Note that the exposed spring side LARGE diameter goes in first with the seal facing out toward you. There is only one video on YouTube that goes into real detail of doing this right the first time . I'm sorry for not knowing how to bring you that video but I hope you will find my directions easy to follow and get the literally ten minute task done in the first try .

I had a slow drip from my 35 year-old Delta faucet. You Tube research showed that this part was probably the culprit. Most sellers offer it only as part of a kit containing several other unnecessary parts, and prices it accordingly. This item was just what we needed. It was a perfect replacement for the original ones and has done the job! It was dirt cheap. Nice to find those bargains once in awhile.

The original seats are flat on top while these are rounded. That might be the reason why these are so noisy. Very squeaky every time I turn the handle. I think the Delta brand [or similar flat-topped] seats would be quieter. At least the drip stopped. The occasional squeak is much easier to tolerate than the constant drip-drip-drip sound.

If you’ve got a drip, replace the seats First instead of the stems. There’s a good chance you will not have to replace the stems too

My hot water side was leaking. Replaced the stem first, did not fix ($15). Replaced this tiny spring and seal, fixed it! Best 85 cents I spent.

Install was straightforward and the new springs and seats stopped a slow leak. Fast forward two and a half months later, leak is back and not dripping but a steady stream. I inspected the “new” seals and found one had torn. I happened to have kept the old seats and replaced the offending part and the leak stopped. Neither of the old seats had torn, and the ball has no rough or barbs. I can only conclude that there was already a defect in the new seal and using the fixture propagated the tear until the sealing surface was compromised and the leak resumed. The other seal is working fine so far. Kinda bummed.

My Delta faucet needed the parts replaced, only had to do it once before years ago. This part worked perfectly and only time will tell if it is durable. The faucet undergoes thousands of operations a year, this one has been in service 20 some tears so I can't complain about having to replace it. Last time it was the hot water side this time the cold (I know ....should have replaced both at the same time). The price I paid was excellent and with Prime shipping you could not ask for more...it was a day late arriving though was not happy about that as the water was dripping and the meter running..I would highly recommend this product if it fits your situation as you can't beat it!
