For years I had one of those other brands that weigh a ton and are extremely over priced. The issue was I could never finish mixing an entire batch of bread in them because it was not big enough. I sold it and bought this kitchen in a box. This thing is the BEST, The BEAST, The BOMB. After 30 years of making bread for my family I am finally able to use my recipe that calls for 10 cups of flour without having to remove it from the mixer because it won't fit. This mixer has plenty of room for my 10 cups of flour plus more if needed. I was able to make the entire recipe and go through the kneading process before removing the dough from the bowl. I am amazed at how much power this has. It's lightweight and easy to use. It's very durable and I love the silver color. Making bread will be enjoyable from now on. Everyone needs a kitchen in a box mixer. I just wish I had one of these 30 years ago

This mixer was a hopeful purchase to find a larger-capacity, lighter weight alternative to our Kitchenaid mixer. We do a LOT of baking (so much that we have been considering making it a home business). I was a little nervous at first but decided to take the chance on it and I am so glad I did! The first test it was put through was Christmas cookies. 60 dozen of them in dough of varying amounts and densities. This thing powered through them all like a champ!Pros - price, power, capacity, lightweight, sturdy attachments, easy to use. Cons - spout size in lid is hard to pour in ingredients however the lid seals really well to minimize mess. Some consider it a con to have to scrape the bowl but you have to do that with ANY mixer, and it's easy with this one.Overall recommend this as a good stand mixer without a super hefty price tag.

After a fair amount of research, I first bought the Vezzio stand mixer (9.5 Qt.) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YRV5756?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleI wanted a big mixing bowl and power, but also a relatively quiet operation. The Vezzio isn't bad, and quite adequate. Making bread dough, I felt like the motor was pushing it's limits a little. Since I knew I could easily use two mixers, I decided to order my 2nd choice, this "Kitchen-in-a-box" 8.5 Qt. model.Comparing the two, this one is the superior machine. It's a bit louder for sure, but not awful. It's main plus-points are that it really does have plenty of power for tough mixing jobs. Also the motor is designed with a "slow-ramp-up", meaning no matter what setting you turn it to, it's going to fade up to that speed over a few seconds, instead of immediately operating at that speed. This is a feature of the best power tools, and it dramatically reduces stress on the motor.Also, the head tilt release is spring loaded. So when you release it, it's going to pop up, and all you have to do is put your hand on it to guide the process. This is actually preferable to the Vezzio's design where you have to manually lift the head after releasing the catch.

I used to think I wanted a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but my lack of counter space and my back injury determined otherwise.This mixer is awesome! Did exceptionally well with my cookie dough using the flat beater. Next up is a batch of bread with dough hook.May not last as long as a big brand might, but fantastic buy for the money and so far performance. Easy to set up and clean up. Not very heavy weight wise, but suction cups on bottom lock it in place where ever you put it.Love this thing!!

When I plugged it in and turned it on it made a loud sound. Speed didn’t seem to consistent. Cover is plastic and appears not to be durable.

My old heavy 4.5 quart mixer just wasn't up to the task of making big batches of bread dough. This 8 quart model handles the job easily. All the power and capacity I need and the unit is both reasonably lightweight and takes up only a little more space than the old mixer. Very happy.

This mixer does much more than just beat cake mixes. It is very versatile and with different beaters, there isn't much you cannot do with this. It is well-made, durable, and comes in many different colors. For the price, it cannot be beat! WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE I CAN PURCHASE DIFFERENT SIZE BOWLS THAT ARE COMPATIBLE!

I got this because I needed a bigger bowl since I bake a lot for a lot of people. If I do dough it sounds like it’s going to break so I’m trying to stay away from dough based recipes at the moment. The attachments hardly come close to the bowl so it doesn’t actually mix very well. I should have just went with a higher paced brand but a family member wanted to buy me a bigger one and I didn’t want them too spend too much on me I’m super disappointed in the mixer. It’s all plastic and can’t handle the amount the bowl is made to hold. It’s also extra loud.
