I was hesitant to spend so much on kitchen shears, but I am glad I did these are sharp and tough when cutting through joints in poultry and still sharp to cut through leather. These are the best kitchen shears I have ever owned!

Good kitchen scissors. Collectively my family is comprised of short people. That being said, we don't have large lumberjack hands. Some reviews make the point that if you have large lumberjack hands, the scissor will come apart while you are trying to use them. Fortunate for us, this was not an issue and the scissors function normally.

Right out of the very lux feeling packaging, you could tell these kitchen scissors are quality. I absolutely love them and they replaced a pair I thought were great until I held these.

These scissors are not only literally heavy, but they are also heavy-duty.I like the fact that they perform multiple uses, including a nut cracker.The only issue I have is the pivot screw is so sensitive, that when I attempted to open the scissors wider to cut something, the scissors began coming apart.The pivot screw needs a stronger locking mechanism that includes a nut (as in a nut and bolt combination) so that I can screw the nut off whenever I wish to separate the two sides of the scissors.

Very strong action ... even cuts through small bones as you separate for cooking. The blades come apart for cleaning, I just put them in the dish washer.

I use them in the kitchen so I like the fact that I can take them apart for cleaning. I found them expensive but worthwhile because of the good quality that they are.
