No garbage disposal, no worries. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this works. I bought this because I was tired of having food in the basin of the sink. This has been absolutely a game changer, and I would highly recommend it for all.

I needed something to keep the scraps out of my sink. Bags are sturdy and easy to use. Base is stable and sturdy.

I used this to get rid of table scraps more easily and it worked great. Rather than some of the scraps going down the drain it went into the netting and enabled me to rinse my dishes better.

The stainer is made of high quality material. It is small and it's difficult to scrape food from the plate directly into it. I'm still cleaning the sink strainer.

This works well and is great for chopping vegetables. the basket holder is heavy enough that it doesn't get knocked over too easily, and i ended up throwing it in the pool bag and used it for food trash at our table-- great for things like grape vines and popsicle sticks, etc.i'm still trying to figure out where to store all the extra strainer bags, but i'm very happy with this little kitchen helper.

It came out together and ready to go. Dropped the food into it and threw it away. Works perfectly. Fast draining and held a lot of food

Unlike sunilar products designed to be glued to the edge or side of a sink, this one sits comfortably at the bottom, even over a drain hole, and allows for ease of use.As others have safe if you're using it with more pungent foods like fish, you need to swap out the nets daily, if you're straining most other foods, you can easily go for up to a week without worrying about smells,as the nets allow for great airflow, so the contents dry out quickly.I wish there was some sort of holder for this to hide the contents when not in use, but I'm not docking any stars for omitting this, it would only improve it to 6/5 if it was included! As such I am looking at building something simple on my own to provide this functionality
