KitchenAid always has quality products at the right price point. I had been using a different brands masher for a couple of years and it started to bend and move. Thought I would give this one a try and so far it has worked great! This masher is sturdy and I can see it lasting for several more years. It is easy to clean and easy to use. Don't be like me and always go with the cheaper product- it is worth getting something a little more expensive that will last than buying the cheaper option and replacing every year or so. This product will definitely last.

I haven't had an old style potato masher in the house for years, but decided to add one back to our collection. This one feels solid, washes up nicely, and has a wide "mashing" area. I find it's good for mashing potatoes or crushing berries; but not as much so for breaking up ground meat during browning (maybe need something with more of an edge for that purpose).

This masher is nicely heavy duty. Build quality is excellent. You won't be disappointed. As a masher, PERFECT. What I bought it for is to make "smash" potatoes. The wire is super heavy duty and spaced wide enough to give good ridges in the potatoes so that they crisp up really nicely in the oven. A definite good purchase.You won't be disappointed. Sure there may be cheaper ones out there, but after receiving this one, it definitely proves the "you get what you pay for" adage.

Super! Sehr solide Ausführung, auch ein dicker Griff, den ich mit meinen Fingern gut und fest umfassen kann. Hervorrageng auch im Topf zu benutzen durch die abgerundete Arbeitsfläche.Ich habe schon lange einen Sparschäler von KitchenAid, zu dem ich einige der obigen Bewertungen nur wiederholen kann. Insgesamt scheint es sich um eine sehr gute Firma zu handeln, das werde ich bei weiteren Einkäufen zu Küchenwerkzeug sicher bedenken!
