I purchased this kite 🪠reel I had a different one but this one was less expensive better more sturdy handle great winds sting up quick and easy ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

This reel made flying kites fun again. It’s solidly built. And the included 100 lb line is great for the kites I fly. And there’s 300 meters of it ... that’s almost a thousand feet. I have yet to spool out.There’s a little bit of a learning curve to using this reel, much like a fishing reel. I run my index finger along the reel to act as a tension break as I give line. If you give line too fast or try to reel in slack line, there’s a chance the loose line could jump off the track and get tangled. Again, just like a fishing reel.But by the 2nd time using this reel, I figured out the how-to and it’s a lot of fun!

Makes flying a kite fun and easy. When using this reel I'm not afraid to get out my kite even for a 10 minute session with my niece. Now I spend 10 minutes flying the kite instead of 10 minutes flying and 10 minutes winding up the string. Huge upgrade.

The product is of expected quality for a reel of this price. The only thing I am really upset about is that mine arrived with a cheap plastic junk lock. This is NOT the heavy stainless steel pin, housed in thick plastic, button activated lock shown in their photos of the reel. This will break in first big gust of heavy wind. If you think you will be getting a reel as shown in their photos, then think again.

My wife and have gotten into buying some different fun fabric kites to fly in 6-15mph winds. These reels are easy to use. They hold a lot of high tensile kite string. The plastic and aluminum design is attractive and light. We are impressed with these when flying our kites for fun.

The image pictured in this listing is not what you will get. Instead, you will get a cheap plastic locking bar that will almost surely not stand up to stiff winds or anything beyond a small kite. Disappointed.
