Wow Product Works Great ! , I Used To Use Sponges To Polish My Shoes And It Would Take Longer But It’s More Easier To Use A Brush . The Brush Is Very Good Quality And It’s Made Of 100% HorseHair And It Doesn’t Shead Like Others Brushes I Used , I Like This Brush A Lot Because It’s Easier To Use And I Only Used A Dot Of Shoe Polish And It Went A Long Way ! Now I Can Save More Product , I Do Recommend This Brush !

Background: bad fall in October, reconstruction foot surgery, PT and orthotics. Unable to afford all new shoes to accommodate the new orthotics. On to eBay. $$ for shoes (Naot) very reasonable but it seems that no one cleans or polishes their shoes any longer. Quickly burn through my shoe shine kit and realize that the last time I purchased brushes and applicators was five years ago. After five years, even with care, it is time to replace the daubers. Would Kiwi still make them? Would they be of the same quality? And if so, would they cost a month's pay to replace? The answers? Yes, Kiwi still makes them and they are as awesome as I remember! WOW! Very low shedding and still affordable.Purchased four: saddle soap, brown polish, black polish and neutral. Will be back for more as I will need a couple more for colors other than basic. Can recommend the following site to guide newbies on the art of taking care of your shoes: [...]. Almost all the products covered by Bryan Kim are available on Amazon.** Update 18 May**Ordered more (the two pack). The first group (4) were made in China and very nice. Received the other two today, made in Israel. These are slightly thicker. Still a bargain.

Kiwi shoe care products have been around since 1906, and, true to form, Kiwi's Horsehair Polish Applicator does not disappoint those of us for whom that military look for our shoes is a serious business! This product is another valuable tool in our arsenal in the War on Scuff Marks, Dirt, Mud, Salt, and all other nasty assaults on our pristine foot-gear. The polish applicator does a much better job in administering the polish to your shoes than any rag can. Those soft horsehair bristles really work the polish into the leather. Be sure and don't press too hard as you apply the polish, and you'll still need an old toothbrush to add polish in detail areas. Make circular motions as you work with the applicator. You'll notice that the long wooden handle keeps polish off of your fingertips, too, which is something that old rag fails to do, I would recommend picking up 3 of these polish applicators for your kit--1 for your polish color, another for applying clear polish, and the third for applying saddle soap, The low price point of the Applicator makes buying the number you need an easy decision.

Very nice brush! My fiance is very adamant about polishing his work shoes, so much so that he has his friend professionally do it for him. After I bought this brush, I ran over to his friend's house and borrowed some polish to see how it would work against his shoes. It was perfect! In my honest opinion, I think I did a better job than his little friend (;Now, for the brush, I would explain it as a medium-stiff type of brush that is flexible enough to do the job. I know I won't be using the brush for anything heavy-duty, I would expect for it to be used for light to medium type work, but it may be able to hold up for quite some time! All I know is, I like this little brush and I think it is an awesome product.

I would say you are nuts but then again I'm writing a review about a polish brush. I started polishing my shoes again. I shined shoes as a kid in a barber shop. I spit shined and brushed and everything. I put on polish with my fingers. At home I had a brush to put on the polish but somewhere in my 69 years I lost it. I got to thinking about it and said to myself, "Self" why don't you go online and order one. So I did and tears of joy, well maybe that is a stretch, I was happy to see it come in three days and while I haven't used it yet I'm looking forward to the smell of the polish moving from the brush onto the leather. You really should get one for yourself. If you are reading this you probably are of an age where you would remember the tactile feel of it gliding and applying. All the best,Not Mark Twain

This polish applicator sheds like a cat, and was still losing bristles even on the third pair of shoes. I don't recall my other three (Kiwi bought 15-20 years ago; I have a different one for each polish color) shedding this much, but it could be just that it's new. Otherwise it effectively applied polish. Will monitor.

La brosse à cirage est assez petite mais malléable et facile à utiliser. Le crin est de qualité et applique bien le cirage.

Initially the brush had a tonne of loose hairs coming out all over the place. Eventually they all came out and it is now an effective brush.
