I was looking to give my Rhodia notepads and, by extension, my pocket book a break. The winning alternative had to be cheaper, produce minimal feathering when journaling with a fountain pen, have pages thick enough to minimize bleed through, and efficient dual o-rings to enable easy front to back page flipping. With the exception of super gushing nibs, which tended to bleed through, these very fairly priced, aesthetically pleasing little books accomplished all of the above superbly. They're not as surface smooth as the Rhodias, for sure, but that was expected. A stiff back would have also made them even better but that's in no way a deal breaker. I'm sold.

Great notebooks, something like college-ruled pages, so you can cram more info on a page without realizing you're doing it. Efficient!Nice beige-colored paper that's easier on the eyes than bright white paper, but your writing stands out well and is easy to read. The paper is of a sturdy thickness, and kinda 'crisp' feeling, but that could just be the lower humidity recently. The covers are plain brown paperboard with no brand name, just like the picture, and the spiral binding is excellent.A notebook is a minor thing in most people's lives, but a good one is certainly better than a bad one, especially if you use it frequently. This is a good one.

I really like these notebooks because I think they are the perfect size for daily to-do lists, note taking during calls and jotting down whatever I need to remember. I keep one of these open on my desk at all times. The size is ideal for my purposes because it is not to thick and therefore easily slips into a pocket of my computer bag when I go to meetings. It is also nice that my hand can rest on the desk while writing, as opposed to really thick notebooks.I just wish they had not changed the price so much. The first time I bought these they were about $10.85 for 4 notebooks. That price has increased to over $16 for 4 books in just 6 months. To expensive, and I will seek an alternative.

I like to jot notes on my desktop when online. I'd used a smaller pad, but it was too difficult for me to understand my cramped writing. Did not want regular Steno-Pads as too large.Size is ideal and paper quality more than meets my needs. The only thing you need to do Is choose which cover is the front and mark accordingly. When some notes are no longer useful, I cross them out and later trash the entire sheet. Might nave to re-write a couple of lines or simply cut that out and tape onto a new page.

The top and back are way too flimsy. I used a cut down 5x7 photo to attach to the front to give it more sturdiness. They really are not a good value for the money.

I like to make daily lists of my top 5-10 priorities for the day with a sharpie, and used to used a lined post-it note. Then I realized it would be helpful if I could save previous days' lists, so decided I needed a spiral-type top-flip notepad. This is just the right size, and the sharpie doesn't leak onto the next page so I don't waste any paper. With four in the pack, it'll take me ages to go through them all. Highly recommend! Very good quality.

Very flimsy covers and low quality paper. The size is nice, but for a notepad, it's just too floppy. They are charging a premium for these notebooks and I expected higher quality. I'd suggest you pass on these and go for an Ampad Gold Fibre Writing Pad, 5x8; it has stiff covers and quality lined paper stock, and is still a little more compact than a traditional steno pad.
