The KLEENBORE BRASS JAG is the BEST JAG I ever used. I've tried the Polymer, Plastic, Rubber, Copper and Other Brass Jags before.BUT, THIS JAG IS THE BEST BRASS JAG MADE PERIOD !!! I JUST LOVE HOW WELL MADE IT IS AND THE QUALITY BRASS, IT IS JUST NOT SOME PIECE OF CHEAP BRASS !!! JUST A FEW PASSES WITH A GOOD PATCH AND YOUR GOOD TO GO!!! BUY THEM !!!

This cleaning jag cleans so much better than the usual patch holder that comes with most firearms. If you’re still using the the patch holder with the hole in it, you don’t know what your missing.

I have all sorts of cleaning instruments for my handguns. I have brushes, mops, jags, cables, poles, you name it. This Kleen Bore jag is my new favorite.There are three ESSENTIAL parts to a jag: the tip, the ribs, and the threads. If you get any one of these wrong, its gonna suck. Period, end game, no penalty shootout, sudden death, or 4-on-4: done.This jag gets all three SPOT ON:1. The tip is pointy and has no problem penetrating and holding both cotton and synthetic patches.2. The ribs are substantially longer than other jags of this type, are thinner, and closer together. These three attributes create greater surface area for the patch to contact the inside of the barrel and catch all that carbon and lead or copper in the barrel.3. The threads are long enough to securely fasten the jag to a cleaning rod but not so long that you only want to thread half of it on (Hoppe's threads are twice as long as they need to be where Pro Shot's are about half as long as they should be).In summation, the only con I would dare mention is beware the point: it is DAMN sharp should you carelessly poke yourself with it.

Good design but found this bore jag to be a bit smaller in diameter than the ones I currently use. Probably could be used with thicker patches to fix the issue?

Using this Jag with good quality bore patches and solvent really cleans out the copper and powder residue after a day at the range. It works well with both my Ruger P95 9mm and my wife's Walther PK380 380ACP. A couple of passes and the bore looks better than when it was new. Seems to clean more thoroughly and faster than brushes and patches alone. Highly recommended.

There isn’t a whole lot to say about it... it’s a cleaning jag. It is true to caliber, appears to be very qualify and works well. Happy with it for the price and would reccomend.
