I bought this cello bow twice because it had a good recommendation, but the original one that was shipped to me had the horsehair detached from the bow and so I returned it and got another one. It had seemed to be good, but after two months, the whole tip holding all the horsehair has come off again. I'm a beginning student and am only practicing for a short time each day and am barely using the bow, so for this to have happened twice - is not a good thing. I found out that it will cost me more to rehair it than the bow cost too! My cello instructor said it should only have to be repaired with heavy use every 2-3 years, so 2 months is a big problem!

The sound quality was great...for four days, almost four...then the hair just fell off at the top. The whole thing came apart, so I returned it.
