I looked at various places for these jigs. I found that this supplier had the best price and quality. Some jigs have very little “hair “ on their jigs and not the colors I wanted. These jigs have a nice supply of “hairâ€, the colors I wanted and the price was right. These 1oz jigs are item in your tackle box. I use them for flounder, fluke and sea trout. I’m catching fish with them when most on the boat are not and asking what I’m using . Good fishing. Tony

Use these when I fish new spots that I dont know the holes, snags etc. Theyre cheap, and thats useful for scoping spots. That said, the dont swim as well as a deer hair bucktail, the hooks need sharpening, and there's no barb for grabbing teasers/baits. They work, but Im sure theyve cost me a couple of fish.

These work well if you have the right expectations. I use them in rocky areas/jetties with a lot of snags, where losing the higher quality big brand jig that these are knocked-off from would really hurt the wallet. These cost about 1/3 of the name brand jigs. Hooks need to be touched up immediately because they are not super sharp, but they are pretty strong and have held up to a few 30lb stripers without straightening. They handle fluke and other smaller fish easily. Paint chips a little when working the rocks all day but at the price I did not expect it to hold up, Bucktail held up fine. I recommend these as long as you do not expect them to last for multiple seasons!
