Love these filters. Feels like quality and it's nice to have reassurance that the internals should be quality as well. Best part is the nut. I've fought with too many stuck oil filters in the past. The nut makes for good insurance that it will come off when you need it to.

I use K&N when I can't get ahold of royal purple. Royal purple is state of the art when it comes to oil filtration, but they have the price tag to match. I think these things are roughly five bucks cheaper. Want to treat your engine right? Get a decent full synthetic oil and at least this oil filter. Motorcraft, puralator, and K&N make some real good filters, but if given the choice I'll take royal purple over this any day. Just my opinion, after seeing some of the tests done over at bobistheoilguy.

Filter works and fits fine. I did however notice that the filter is now made in Mexico and not the USA like the last K&N filter. At least it is not China.

Bonjour,Installé sur un SBC de 1975, il fait très bien son taf comme d'ailleurs tous les produits de cette marque connue et reconnue.Pour ceux qui ne sont pas équipés de clé prévue pour le démontage de filtre à huile, une simple clé à molette peut aussi faire l'affaire car il y a l'empreinte d'un écrou à la base de ce filtre.Pour le remontage par contre n'oubliez pas: Bien huiler le joint avant, et serrage uniquement à la main !!
