Pros:Decent support for the kneeNot hot to wearCons:Only comes in one size, which is going to be too small for many peopleDoesn't have tubular inserts like MuellerThis brace is better than the ones that cover half your leg (which I've found to be pretty useless) and is better than no brace at all, but not as good as the Mueller Sport Care or Sport Medicine (they keep changing the name) knee brace. I don't have huge legs, but this brace is a bit small for me, and only comes in one size. If I put the bottom strap on first, I can barely get the top strap in place. This brace is cheaper than the Mueller, but not nearly as good - the Mueller makes you feel like you have "bionic" knees, whereas this one just makes it better than it was. It's better than nothing, and if you have small legs it make work better for you than it does for me.

My right knee has become prone to meniscus related inflammation over the years, and I'll probably need to consult with an ortho doc at some point in the not too far off future. In the interim, this device provides a little support for light to moderate activities (walking, biking) and seems to help support my knee. It's not as effective as a full knee wrap type meniscus brace, but I prefer its open design to those for bike riding. Could I live without this while riding or walking? Sure, but it adds little support below the knee where I need it so I'll keep using it. It's decently constructed with stretchy material and strong velcro straps, and it stays in place. The open front and ventilated behind-the-knee section are nice features. The padded area supporting the meniscus could be thicker / denser, but it's there and does provide some compression.

I strained my knee a while ago and have tried a number of braces to support it while it heals. These include traditional elastic sleeves and single strand Velcro straps. I found that this double strap works best for me. The lower strap supports the patella and the upper one helps keep it in place, preventing the slippage that can happen with single straps. The back of the strap fits directly behind the knee and is flexible enough that it doesn't irritate or inhibit bending. This double strap is my choice for moderate knee support.

I had high hopes for this brace, but I never really felt like it supported/stabilized my knee all that well, particularly when compared to a more traditional compression sleeve brace. When bending/moving my knee, the part behind my knee dug into my leg, as there was not a lot of give, though I understand the need for some rigidity to provide actual support. I'm back to using my compression brace.

This is not a product for any high intensity or impact sports. It simply doesn't provide enough protection or support. I assume it's better than nothing, but, in my athletic days I wouldn't use it as I had far better. The advantage I guess is in heat there isn't as much there so it's cooker (even has a hole made on kneecap I guess to allow in air and make it more flexible). It has velcro strap but not very adjustable for your size etc. I have bad knees from military but even if I didn't have much better knee braces/pads I still doubt I would use this. It is very inexpensive though if you want to see if it's good for whatever you want it for. I can't get on my knees anyway but a thought was it might be useful gardening if you get on your knees a lot.

I've tried a number of knee straps and braces recently as I fight with tendonitis, and my conclusion has been that they need silicone strips to help keep them in place. Unfortunately, this one doesn't have anything like that. As a result, I found that I have to tighten the upper strap to an uncomfortable degree in order to keep it in place. Otherwise it tended to slip down over my kneecap when I started running. That said, it does work once you get it on correctly. The dual strap design keeps it in the correct place and allows the lower strap to properly support your patella tendon. It's much better than a lot of similar products I've used, so although it might not be perfect it is a good option if you need something like this.

I’ve tried a variety of knee braces for my knee pain. Full sleeve braces can be very uncomfortable, and the ones with the rubber donut on the knee cap shows through clothing. I finally tried this more minimal approach, and it seems to work very well. The two Velcro straps make for easy adaptability. If the strap begins to loosen, it’s easily adjusted. It eases my knee pain just as well as the others, with improved comfort. Highly recommend.
