Knock sensor issues were such a problem on various GN models, GN released a Technical Service Bulletin to create a water-tight seal on the knock sensors to prevent premature failure.
Leaks like engine oil and coolant can be problematic. These not only cause unsightly stains but may lead to serious problems if not repaired. That’s why CHENHO provides intake manifold gaskets that are designed for the repair environment to help seal imperfect surfaces. Proprietary materials and proven technologies help ensure a reliable seal on even the most troublesome applications.
Remove the knock sensor plugs from the valley plate and disconnect the wiring harness assembly from the knock sensors.
Thread the new knock sensors into place and torque to approximately 11 ft/lbs.
Install the wiring harness and apply an RTV sealer to the knock sensor plugs. It is always recommended that a new wiring harness be installed when replacing the knock sensors. RTV sealant needs to be applied to create a dam to keep water out of the knock sensor cavities and prevent premature knock sensor failure.

Parts were a fit for my daughter's 2001 Silverado. Sensors work now with no check engine code. Had to work a little to get the intake gaskets to seat properly, but the truck fired up first crank after reassembly.

I installed these two under the manifold on my 6.0 didn't have any problems with them fit was good there functioning just like there supposed to no engine lights thank you so much the gaskets fit really good just like the ones I removed from it

Do nit buy gasket did not fit was deformed couldn't use and knick sensor had to pull back out and buy ac delco

The gaskets don’t fit on the intake mine fell off ended up having to replace them with felpro gaskets other then that it’s good

Went through all the trouble of replacing these sensors and they lasted one week! no good! Get oem.
