INKJET Waterslide Decal Paper Operation Steps:
Step 1: Print Image
Create and print your design with an inkjet printer. Let it dry for a while.
Step 2: Spray Acrylic Coating
Seal the print image with the clear acrylic spray. Spray 3 even coatings over the image allowing each coating to dry then spray again. Wait for it to dry completely.
Tips: The ink will dissolve in water if the coating is not sprayed evenly.
Step 3: Cut Out Image
Use scissors to cut out the image. Leave a border of 3 mm around the design for best results.
Step 4: Soak In Water
Soak the deal in room temperature water for about 30~60 seconds or until the paper backing can slide easily. Take out the decal from the water.
Step 5: Slide
Place the decal onto the desired surface with the image side facing up. Gently hold the edge of the decal while sliding off the backing sheet.
Tips: Put some water on the surface for easier sliding.
Step 6: Smooth and Dry
Use a paper towel or mini squeegee to remove air bubbles and excess water out from behind the decal.
Then let it sit to dry by nature.
Tips: Ceramics can be baked in an oven at 230℉ for 10-15 minutes for more strong adhesion.
Extra coat of epoxy resin can be used on the finished decal for more protection.

The color is so vibrant , doesn't bleed and the waterslide doesn't tear. I do heat treat my waterslide even if putting it under epoxy. These waterslide films are so easy to work with. I have used them on wine glasses, epoxy tumblers, wooden boxes, acrylic plaques and even spray bottles. They are very durable and have not torn or faded

I've used decal paper for the last 15 years and used all kinds of brands. This Koala decal paper is by far the best inkjet waterslide decal paper on the market. I was blown away at how good it is. No fading print or ink botches runs etc. best quality decal paper you'll ever see. Buy with confidence, you wouldn't be disappointed.

This review is not fair! I ordered a water slide instead of a laser slide and it is not working. So this is not a fair review. One thing I've learned! water slides do not work on a laser printer!

It isn't any easier to make clear decals using an inkjet printer. The downside is that you cannot print white.Once the decal is printed, it must be sealed with a clear or matte spray, which can be purchased at any hardware store. I sprayed the decal 3 coats of even spray, waiting 5 minutes between costs. Two hours after the final coat was applied, I was able to cut the decals and apply to my project. They turned out great.
