Quality:The chain seems to be of good quality. A magnet sticks to it, so it is really steel with just a zinc plating (zinc platings have a very slight blueish tint) and it isn't just pure zinc/ pot metal. The welds seem to be good quality and are on par with the chains I've recently bought at lowes for around 2x the price. I have a lot of confidence that this could hold a good load. Koch officially sells on Amazon so I am confident these are legit and Koch recently merged with hillman, a very very popular hardware company in America.Size/ Dimensions:For the 1/4" chain I ordered, the links are actually slightly thicker than advertised at .26" (6.60mm).The inner diameter short ways (side to side) is 0.49"(12.45mm). Long ways (top to bottom) inner diameter including the other links in the way is 0.71"(18.03mm), excluding the other links and looking at just one link by itself (imagine literally just 1 link with nothing attached to it), it's 1.2"(30.5mm) long ID. You could comfortably fit something with a shackle size of 3/8"(10mm) onto the chain, but something around 1/2 (12.7mm) would either be very snug or might not fit at all.Outer dimensions are 1.75" (44.45mm) tall by 1.04" (26.42mm) wide (per link). And of course are 0.26" (6.60mm) thickLength: Also slightly longer than advertised. My stanley fatmax measured these to be 10' 1 3/16" long or 3.078 meters so it seems they have an extra link for free which is good, I'd rather have an extra link versus too few.Overall I am impressed, will likely buy from this supplier again if I need chain in the future.

Pretty good, heavy chain. It's taking a beating - getting scraped across the floor and such, but it doesn't seem to be putting a dent in the links.

This is my fault but I didn't realize there weren't any hooks. It would be more transparent if it said something like "Bare Chain" or "No Hooks." I realize it was my fault but when I opened the package I was bummed there weren't any hooks so I came back to see what I ordered and sure enough, no where did it say it included hooks. I would have realized it if the picture was of the whole chain rather than 8 links.

I hung some outdoor curtains on my deck and they blew around and blue round. So I bought a chain that was smaller than this one and it didn’t pull the curtain down at all, so I bought this one, it fit perfectly in the hem of my curtain that I hung. And it’s holding the curtain in place.

This is a great piece of chain and the price was great. For my project this chain will be more support then I need. So yes I am more then happy with this product and so will you.

I love it, high strength for the small size. Much easier to work with and just a strong or stronger than a lower grade chain of a greater size. I use it to move things around on my property with my compact tractor. Very handy. Be aware that you need to buy grade 70 grab hooks to go on the ends. I am going to cut mine in half with a side grinder and connect two more grab hooks so I have Two separate 10 foot chains with hooks. Easier to use, if I need a long chain I can just connect them instantly with the hooks. To reach total utility, you need bolt on or weld on hooks on the bucket of your front end loader. Tractor bliss.
