This is a very soft filling it’s perfect for stuffing pillows or stuffier. It’s a great price and it’s on me for not reading specifics but I expected it to be bigger. But overall it’s a very good filling.

The other reviewers may not have priced out cotton stuffing before stating in their review that "you don't get much." However, if you are aware of how much a material like this costs, you wouldn't be surprised by that. This is a high quality fiber. Very soft and very clean.Yes, this is only enough for a small stuffed animal or amigurumi toy--but the title states the quantity in grams and ounces so that's pretty obvious. Also, cotton is a lot heavier than polyester or acrylic. It's a natural product.Be aware that you won't want to submerge anything you make with this because it will take so long to dry that it will probably grow mold. If the item you're making needs to be washable, just make a closure or a liner (in the case of a pillow) so that you can remove the filling and just wash the shell.There are tradeoffs to natural products like these. You won't be using petrochemicals to stuff that doll, but you can't throw the doll in the washing machine.This isn't bleached or dyed. It's natural. There are a few speckles of chaff from the processing, but I've seen that chaff in cotton garments I've purchased, so that's not a big deal. It has a neutral natural odor that quickly dissipates.This is spinnable fiber if you are a hand-spinner. It's not in roving or top form and the staple is very short, so you'd need to be experienced at fiber prep and spinning of short staple fibers.Other natural fiber options for stuffing include wool and kapok, but they will have similar cleaning requirements (unless you get superwash wool) and will have their own natural elements and odors.Happy making and always do your research!

the softness is there as well as the quantity I just wish there was a little bit more in the package it may look like a lot when you first get it but one you open it there's only so little in it. for the size and the price Its somewhat reasonable
