Fit exactly- must have a band style wrench to get the large bottom nut off the tower.

There was a label inside the toilet tank giving the part number for my leaky flush valve. Even though the toilet is about 12 years old, that part showed right up in Amazon. I was able to do the repair in just minutes because of the modular nature of the entire valve assembly. I don't care that I didn't need 1/2 of what they sent me, I'll keep it just in case. This is just an amazing experience compared to what a person would have had to do in prehistoric times.By the way, if there is a label inside your toilet saying don't use clorox tablets inside the tank, believe them!
