This year's maintenance on my CRAFTSMAN model 917.28853 with the 22HP KOHLER ENGINE included replacing this fuel line filter, the OEM KOHLER "Pro Series" spark plug part # 25-132-12 S, a new KOHLER OEM OIL filter part # 12-050-01-S AND OEM Air Filter part# 20-083-02 S...all purchased through Amazon at excellent prices. I priced these out locally and literally found I saved $40. buying through Amazon. All came immediately, fit as expected and Tractor is ready for another season.

Replaced the fuel filter on a Cub Cadet with a KT725 Kohler engine. The owner had replaced it with a JD filter the dealer gave him which seems to possibly be too restrictive. This was the original OEM replacement filter and worked just fine. While it did ultimately end up not being the true problem, it's peace of mind to know that the "wrong" filter he had originally installed wasn't restricting fuel flow too much.Installation is straightforward and simple - re-use the fuel line and clamps and it has barbed fittings on either end. Straight swap, no modifications needed at all. If the fuel line and other parts are in good shape, you should be good to go. Shouldn't take more than a minute to replace.

its a kohler fuel filter. It worked just fine on my riding mower. I didnt have to leave the house to go get one from lowes. Win...

Got this for my Kohler 22 hp engine and it fits perfect. Please dont try to save a few bucks by buying generic parts, buy the original recommended part which this is.

I had has in the tank and simply used ac-clamp on both sides of the filter. Clips were easy to open and remove the old filter and install the new one.

Buy once, cry once. It fit and didn't lterally fall apart on install like the cheap one I tried first.
