Had to buy as this model from Kohler only seems to last me a few years. It’s expensive as a replacement price of plastic, but it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than replacing the faucet. Easy screw in install. Works great.

Bought this a month ago, and the faucet is already stuck in spray mode. The toggle between spray and stream seems jammed and faulty.

Once I installed the new faucet I decided to take the old one apart. Not knowing how to do it I took the destructive method. The guts can be removed. The plastic bushing near the threads for the hose can be removed. It takes patience but it can be worked off without destroying it like me. Once that is off. There is a plastic threaded nut with tabs like a spanner nut. Once that is off. Thread the hose back on a little and pull. The two main plastic pieces are held together with plastic tabs that can be separated with lots of force. The little plungers can the be removed by prying the metal retainers. After all that, the first plunger that causes most of the problem is all brass with O-Rings. My brass piece had mineral build-up that was causing it to bind. The next time this happens, I will remove the nozzle an pour vinegar down it and let it soak. It may fix it. Only time will tell.Ok, it failed again and I tried to soak it in vinegar. I disconnected it and soaked it for a day. It did not help. I gave up and replaced it. It seems that if Kohler just used cheap plastic buttons instead of brass it would not attract the corrosion.

Did the trick and was less than the brand's website!

It sucks that this part breaks all the time, but it is so easy to replace it without a plumber which is great. Longevity of these is not good, but I’m happy that at least it’s an easy fix.

I bought the faucet in 2010 at that time the faucet was probably made in USA. The head spray lasted over ten years, the deposits in water plugged the head spray. We had four tenants using the faucet in ten years. Due to globalization the new head spray is made in China I do not know how long will last before it starts leaking.

It's a great replacement part for a crappy part. It's pretty sad that I even have to buy this after 5 years. Old one buttons were getting stuck.

Easy installation and water pressure has improved. My only complaint would be, where's the aerator removal tool shown in the diagram? Misleading product info.
