I was getting my goldfish (formerly koi) pond ready for the spring and noticed I only had one one pond filter left. Looking on Amazon it turns out I bought this in May , 2018 (for two-thirds of the current price-inflation bites). So I thought I would leave a review. I've had my pond for maybe 20 years or more and have gone through several different brands of filter media. This stuff is fine and IMO works perfectly. Easy to cut to fit with a pair of ordinary scissors. Very durable and easy to clean-my pond is built into a hill and has a tendency to get some dirt washed in through the rough rock retaining wall. I've noticed absolutely no matting/compression of the filter with use. Good stuff.

Cost a little more then other brands. But worth it. I bought 3 times. As thick as described. Holds up to about 10+ times power washer cleanings before tearing / need replacing. Removes small particles of dirt and mud. I use in pond filter between the heavy duty plastic filter pads to remove fine dirt. Best I found to get water crystal clear after koi dug into Lilly pots and made pond muddy. Would recommend for pond or aquariums.

Used this filter in a skimmer. It did catch some stuff but the white side started falling apart after a couple of cleanings. Was not as fine or tightly woven of a filter as I had hoped for.
