Love it: quality paper, can add and take out paper easily, easy to open and close, looks elegant, very light weight.

I love how much use I can get with these. I’ve gotten different filler papers with these and it makes it so easy and versatile to use. I also really love the smoothness of the pages, my pencil runs over it like butter. Even with more paper added it still stays really slim, so it’s convenient with storing it away too.

This notebook is smaller than typical copy paper. The notebook itself comes with 10 sheets of paper. If you want more, I highly suggest Muji's paper. They sell about 100 sheets of graph paper for this notebook for 2 bucks, which is cheaper compared to the campus paper on amazon. I do like the campus paper it comes with, but personally it is too much money. The notebook cover is sturdy and a medium-thick plastic. The cover is see through, so keep that in mind. The listed paper capacity is 25 sheets.I believe it is listed as so, because if you were to fold it like a spiral notebook to write on just one page, all the rings are closed.I have been able to fit 40 sheets of paper comfortably, but you cannot fold it over to write on just one page. The rings will spread apart.I noticed that after 50 sheets of paper, the rings no longer close fully, so paper has a chance of falling out.I personally love this notebook. I like to use one notebook per class, and typically I do not fully use a notebook. This allows me to use it as a regular notebook, but when I am done I can replace the pages.I also scan all of my notes into my computer for safekeeping (and so I don't keep notebooks around for years on end), and having the paper come out with no fringe is a bonus. The other added bonus is that I can take out a sheet of paper and write on it, if writing in the notebook is hard. Rearranging pages is also lovely, and very useful for notes and inserting diagrams.I have not personally tried to hole punch things to put in the binder, but I have heard about people using Carl's 26 hole puncher with great success. It is possible if you would want to create your own paper for the notebook. The only thing I wish I could change is how many pages it could hold. It would be lovely if it could hold around 70 to 100 pages, like most US standard notebooks.

INSTRUCTIONS: First off, it has a lock to protect the binder. To take off the lock, place your finger through the bottom hole of the lock and push it out to the left. If you get stuck here, grab onto the bottom tabs on the side and pull those out. Next hold the lock and pull it up. To open the binder rings, press the plastic button on the top. Make sure you don’t block the bottom part of the spine or else it won’t open. To close the binder, you pinch the rings together. It’s a very slim and portable binder with a nice pink pastel color. It’s best paired with Kokuyo campus paper which can also be found on amazon. The maximum amount of pages it can hold is 25 but I was able to squeeze in 40. Though if you overload the binder too much it will have a difficult time closing and your pages will easily fall out. I wouldn’t suggest being rough with this binder. It holds pretty well, but also feels fragile if handled carelessly. The paper is very silky and high quality. It feels smooth to run pen ink over it. Unfortunately, b5 plastic sheet protectors will stick out. I’ve used maruman clear pockets, so the kokuyo campus clear pockets /may/ fit better. This binder seems to be best for holding paper and not plastic sheet protectors.Overall, the Kokuyo brand is very high quality as most Japanese stationery products are. This binder is a great way to save buying multiple notebooks. It’s easily refillable and portable to carry around. If you want a binder that is a little more studier and can hold more pages, I would get the 60 page version of this binder, which is a lot thicker and more sturdy.

Love this so muchIt is very slim, so doesnt take much space in my bag or doesnt weight much eitherAnd the quality of paper refill is so nice and thick(doesnt bleed through no matter what writing tool you use)I feel like I can just take notes all day LOLIt comes with 10 pages only with the binder,So definitely need to order refill to useI am glad I ordered the package for 2 packs of refill for cheaper than buying 2 seperateYou can put many pages of paperBut they start to get jammed on the side when you put more than 30-ish pages, so I just put 20-25 at once to carryIt is just so nice, slim, pretty, reasonable, convenient...If you are looking for a notebook, try this instead of traditional boring, thick, heavy, ugly ones :)Im definitely going to order more of different color ones

This is a great school notebook option for those that like to swap out pages, rewrite and reorganize their notes. The spiral binder part is a little finicky to open and close and seems very delicate, like if I push to hard or the wrong way, it would snap, but overall I like the option and reusability of this way more than anything else I've tried. I've heard that Muji has a similar style, so would like to try that one out too.

I did a lot of research trying to find the best notebook/binder. I was so excited for this one. It’s super cute and reusable. I love the paper. But every time I pulled it out in class, it fell open and scattered my notes all over the floor. Every. Time. I’ll keep using it until I run out of paper, but I’m not bringing it to class again.

this notebook/binder hybrid was exactly as described and is just what i needed. traditional spiral notebooks don't work for me as i'm left handed (using them is generally uncomfortable). this one is perfect as i can take notes on the looseleaf sheets (10 were provided with the notebook and you can easily find packs of 100 on amazon) and then place them inside the binder. price was also fairly reasonable considering the quality and that a regular binder from staples is around 10$.

I especially like the refined lines and little dots on the papers. Fine Japanese art!
