I LOVE THE PAPER! It's not that cheap kind of paper! It is a carefully crafted paper that doesn't scratch on your hand, its smooth as silk! It absorbs color so well and it also doesn't smudge or bleed through! Even if you use sharpies! I love this brand and will buy from them soon!

The notebooks are all good quality, and the colors are cute. The pages are a bit glossy, which could make certain ink types smear, but it’s fine for my use (and I’m right-handed). These work perfectly as school notebooks.

Although not explicitly designed for the following feature, the Kokuyo campus notebook plays very nicely with fountain pen inks. Inks display shading and vibrancy without discernible feathering. Bleedthrough or ghosting is also acceptably good with this notebook. Granted it won't hide strokes on the other side like a Tomoe river or Clairfontaine, but it costs less than half per page and is still very readable on double sides. I'm very happy to have bought this to pair with my fountain pens.

These are good notebooks that have smooth paper. I have tried writing with pencils, ballpoint, and ink with no bleed-through. My kids love using these in school and like them better than the Five Star ones.

Great paper. Great price. May be a bit slick for some, but it’s nice for fountain pens. No problem with bleed through for me.

I really likes these notebooks, dont get me wrong! The paper is nice quality and automatically makes notes look 10x better.... But... The outside rips pretty easily, and It just gets ruined overtime. You would have to keep very good care of it for it too look as new. It does lay flat, the colors are nice, but the outside gets ruined to easily!

Can not be beat. These are the best brand of notebooks in the world.This particular notebook is slightly smaller than the average notebook, but they have other sizes. So just make sure you're looking at the size first if you're looking for a particular size.
