I gave the scrapbook with these additional pages and longer posts to my daughter or Christmas with a huge box of family photos for her to preserve and arrange as she prefers! Sell photobooks and albums? Create a hard copy portfolio for yourself?I've done both, like many of you. Advertised as a scrapbook, it's also perfectly sized as an 8"x 10" portfolio. The removable pages makes adding, or reorganizing, your portfolio a snap, ensuring you keep up with the latest trends and rotating them to the front. It's a great, cost effective option to having a photobook printed and bound. While a professionally bound photobook looks beautiful, it's costly to have a new one run ($150-500+) for every inclusion, removal or update.And then there's gifting. The size is perfect for two 4"x 6" per page, or one 5"x 7", and have space for doodles. That's a project I'm currently working on as a gift for a friend's first baby. I'm photographing her progress with milestones in-studio and will include many of the photos in the album, with doodles of her favorite things within the negative space. The plan is to deliver after delivery, as I may be requested to work through the delivery, who knows? Just an idea for offering something "a little extra" your competitors probably don't.

Like other reviews , the extenders suppled with the additional scrapbook pages were the wrong size. If you search Amazon for “Fortunmee 14 sets silvery screw posts†they include extender posts that work with Kolo end posts.

I purchased a Newport Album and 2 packages of extra pages for a wedding album. When I assembled the filled pages into the cover, I tried adding the threaded extenders which came with the pages into the original album posts. As I know see from several other reviews, they do not fit.In my case the threaded studs on the extender posts broke off inside the threaded holes of the original posts. Now I was unable to even use the original posts. I had to spend another $9.00 to purchase a package of 50 assorted posts to get the 2 which I needed. I now own 48 posts that I do not want or need. This caused me to miss the delivery date for the album to the bride and groom before they left on their honeymoon.I like the album and the paper but this shortcoming causes me to give 1 star in an effort to draw attention to the problem. There are reviews over a year ago with the same complaint. Get it together in quality control. Your low quality 10 cent part drags down the desirability of your $20 paper.

I only use Kolo albums and scrapbooks for my photos. The paper is thick enough to allow for use of both sides. I always order extra Kolo pages and attach my photos with rubber cement. This allows you to remove pictures, reposition and clean up by rubbing your finger on any drips. Memories are invaluable and worthy of this beautiful presentation.

Refill pages are great quality, but the extender posts do not fit in the existing posts of the book. I read this in other reviews but thought they may be wrong based on other good reviews. Sure enough - they don’t fit so my refill pages don’t fit in my kolo book. So disappointing.

The threads on the extension posts that come with these refill packs don't actualy match the threads on the existing posts in the Kolo Newport Scrapbook so you'll need to buy either 1" or 2" extender posts separately (and these are hard to find).
