It’s great for the price but it did have some issues with the install hardware. 1) The bolts that hold the Swivel Plate to the Mounting Plate were too short. They did not engage the locking part of the lock nuts. 2) The one of the holes in the Support Bracket was too small for the Carriage Bolts to seat. I called customer service and got hold of them without much trouble. They were very polite and sent out a new hardware kit. The new kit arrived quickly but unfortunately had the same problems. So I had to buy a couple of bolts and file the hole in the Support Bracket hole for about 30 seconds. Even considering the problems with the hardware, I would buy this again. It’s well made and is easy to use. The rifle slides in easily and is well protected. The inner sock was a little tricky to install. I lined up the sock where I wanted it and then peeled the backing strip away from the Velcro while holding it in place. It was a little tricky to do but the sock lined up nicely. I did have the problem with the Turn Knobs backing off and the boot did bounce around a lot, but were on some very rough roads. It was nothing that some lock washer and bungee cords couldn’t handle. As far as protecting the rifle goes it performs well. While out on a very rough road I flipped the quad on its side. When we pushed the quad back up on its wheels and assessed the damage. The front fender was displaced enough to notice, and the Swivel Plate on the gun boot was bent. The Boot itself was fine aside from some very minor scratches and the rifle inside was perfect. We tried to pull the bracket out by hand and couldn’t do it. It’s a pretty stiff piece of metal. If I had to setup another quad I would definitely but another one of these. There might be better out there but for the money this is great.

This works surprisingly well and protects my rifle well.I am pleased with the way it sits and rides on my Grizzly.The knobs must be tightened well or they will come loose and fall off.

Put this on a Suzuki 400 King quad 4x4 and it assembled perfectly on the rear rack left side and I mounted the boot to the inside as to be flush with the front and rear fenders as to not catch on limbs or bushes, trees etc... Perfect fit!

Needed a gun case for my 4 wheeler. It serves the purpose, but rough terrain produces a lot of jiggling and loosens the hand nuts that attach the case to the bracket. If I wasn't so cheap I'd have purchases a case and bracket that allows you to simply slip the case into it without messing with the bolts, rubber mounting spacer, washers and hand nuts. It's pretty well padded though and keeps the dust and rain off the gun.

I mounted this on my 2012 Polaris 850HO only a couple months before I rolled the ATV 20+ times down the mountain. I was unhurt, as was my Browning X-Bolt/Zeiss scope that was protected by this gun boot. The plastic mounting tab on the bottom of the case snapped off after a couple of rolls, sparing my rifle from the rest of the fall. The case itself remained intact, and did it's job protecting nearly $2000 worth of rifle and scope. I'm going to buy a Kolpin 5.0 next to replace this one.

Good product but mounting hardware needs to be redesigned and case doesn’t quite fit most long guns. Interior protective Casing definitely needs to be looked at the 2 way Velcro tape sid not last

feels cheap for the price you pay. the bolts that hold it onto the bracket keep coming loose after about 20-30kms of riding. If I bought another one I'd probably go with a different option
