This Rosin works great for these strings. I will say that we used a different brand for the last strings he had. Bass strings are fickle. You may have to try out a few brands to see what works for your bass. My son brought his bass to school so he could try out the variety they had there and find out what works. Also, if you are new to his, be ready to dust. Bass rosin goes everywhere.
