Before buying this , I had been using some planks of wood duct taped together with some carpeting covering them, it was ok. I had been using that with an old trainer that made a racket, it sounded like a freight train. I purchased a new trainer and added the standard trainer block that came with it to my wood plank set up, again the stability was ok, it could have been a bit better. I saw this trainer block and it took me awhile to order it because of the price. I know there is another popular brand block that is a bit more even. Any way this works very nicely. It does not move around, I have it on a carpeted floor and I found the height I wanted, hence no need for the wood plank set up. I like how there is a good amount of bike tire length that fits in the block and how the block hugs the tire, I think that is what makes the big difference. From time to time I stand up and pedal, I am careful but I feel secure in doing this. This piece of equipment was worth it. I got the blue one. It also looks nice.

This Indoor Trainer Front Wheel Riser Block is superbly sturdy! Its three adjustable heights make it versatile for all trainers—a solid choice for a stable ride.

Very solid, thick plastic. I use this with my wahoo indoor trainer. Worth the extra money vs smaller black versions you see out there. Would definitely buy again.

Just received the item. Used it for a short, low intensity ride. It’s very stable on a rubber mat. Maybe somewhat slippery on a wooden floor. It comes with some small rubber pads, which may be sufficient to keep it from moving around a lot.

The riser is great for everyone! It comes with three heights, which makes it super compatible with any type of trainer and bike. I was able to use the product as a test over the summer and liked it, so I bought one for myself, recently. It is super durable, very well made; and is definitely worth the price! It is not super bulky, so it does not take up much space, which makes it easier to store or take with you for travel to races. If you are on edge of purchasing the riser, I recommend that you do buy this as it works for everything!

I had a smaller riser that was okay, however this is is so much more stable and having options for height is great. I am so much more comfortable riding my bike on the trainer. I can stay on the bike for me ch longer.

I've been using this to stabilize my front bike wheel for a few weeks, and it is working great. It is difficult to shift it around by pushing at it with my foot, and while that is annoying, it just goes to show that it does its job!

Holds the whole front wheel very firmly. Makes the entire platform just feel more sturdy. I was expecting it to be useful with having 3 different height settings, the bonus was just how well it holds the wheel. Really like it.

Excellent bike trainer wheel stand. Having the option of 3 different heights really allowed me to dial in my specific trainer. This thing is incredibly stable with the large base. This means your front tire is locked in even when standing and pedaling hard. One thing I found with the wide base is you are able to turn your handlebars a little to restraighten your wheel after a hard push. This is something I think the smaller stands without the same kind of wheel support would feel tippy doing or simply have your tire fall off of the stand.Once your wheel is in this stand it feels like it's glued in there and isn't coming out. If your looking for a trainer wheel stand, this is the one you want.

This bicycle trainer stand does what it is built for. It is sturdy, has 3 heights (which I never use), and keep the front tire pretty secure and not moving. I love that there is grip on the bottom so it doesn't slide on the carpet or the rubber mat that I use.

Slightly smaller than others but works just fine for indoor training and far superior to the short piece of 2x4 that I've been using for the past 10 years
