Though the description says these are for the Ninja grill, there’s no reason they can’t be used for other pellet grills or smoke tubes. They do have a nice smell to them, but as for how they make the wings taste, you must be a smoke master to really be able to determine the difference they make. I can tell you that after using them in a smoke tube, my wings were delicious, but they always are. And as far as using them specifically for wings, I can assure you that any food you make using them will have a nice smokey flavor. I do believe they may work better with poultry, but any meats would take on a nice smokiness. Overall, I like them, and I’d use them again.

Overall, I’m impressed with the results of using these pellets. They burn quickly and produce a high-quality, flavorful smoke that really elevates the taste of whatever you’re grilling. Though the packaging suggests they're ideal for chicken wings, I’ve used them on ribs and, and the flavor was consistently excellent. The smoke adds a rich, savory depth that perfectly complements the natural flavors of the meat. However, there is one downside—the price. Compared to other pellet brands, Kona's Wings Blend is noticeably more expensive, which makes it less appealing if you're grilling frequently.

Finally tried these in my Ninja Woodfire grill once wings went on sale. (Remember when stores practically gave wings away? Those were the good ol' days.) These pellets burn well. A full hopper lasts about 35-45 minutes. They imparted a light smokiness to my already seasoned wings. I like that the smoke didn't overpower the wings. Chicken doesn't require the strong smoke as beef and pork often do.As much as I liked the smoke, I find this brand somewhat expensive. I don't buy the bulk cheap pellets because they burn twice as fast and are often treated chemically rather than naturally. Since a $15 bag of Kona pellets will smoke about 15 or so uses, they aren't as expensive as they seem once you take the burn rate into account...and the flavor is worth it.

These look like quality pellets. Now, to be clear, I didn't get them for their regular use, but to use in an open campfire as I am using my cast iron pan or Dutch oven. These look like a fine addition to our kindling and logs to give our food a punch of extra smoke flavor. I like that these are just hardwood with no added smell. If, after our next camping trip, I find they don't perform according to the description, I will come back and edit this review. For now, they look all they promise to be. We've made a lot of campfires and have backpacked--I mean a lot of campfires. I think these will do well for us.

I am shocked at how much this is listed for considering I typically get 40 pound bags that cost less than this. That being said, they are what they say they are - hardwood pellets. You decide if it's worth the price.

Nice pellet blend for wings. Can never get enough pellets, as I like to smoke meats and make bbq. Great taste and flavor, I'd but these pellets / brand again for sure!

Review of Kona Wings Blend Smoker Pellets, Intended for Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill, 2 lb Resealable Bag sold by Nickle's Arcade LLC and store is Kona - Nickle's Arcade. Brand is Kona. This comes in a fairly heavy-duty plastic, resealable bag that can stand upright. There was a small vent hole near the seal.Filled the hopper with pellets making sure that I did not overfill and started the Woodfire with ignition. It only takes 8-10 minutes for the Woodfire to both start the smoke and also to preheat. I noted that by the time 20 minutes into the cook had elapsed the pellets had been completely used and my first clue was no smoke. This means that these lasted less than 30 minutes which I consider to be extremely fast burning. This was listed as a ‘Wings Blend†which really seems to be more sales hype. All that I care about is knowing what the wood is and, in this case, it is listed as being a mix of apple and maple. Just list the wood(s) and I can take it from there to match what I am cooking or smoking.Since I had some chicken that I wanted to cook anyway my test cook was therefore chicken. This came out fairly well and tasted good.I cannot blame the seller for this but wood pellets in 2-pound bags are just too expensive. Although not as bad as Ninja wood pellets this 2-pound bag costs as much as I paid for a 40-pound bag of pecan pellets (which also go well with chicken).

I've tried many brands of pellets for smoked wings on my Ninja Woodfire, and most of the pellets had too strong smoky flavor for wings. Then I found this KONA pellets that is specifically blended for Wings. And YES, this was the smoke flavor that I was looking for the wings. Not too strong but yet still has those burned smoky flavor on top of the seasoning. However, there are 2 misleading information on the description.1. Ninja Woodfire grill's pellet hopper must be fully filled in order to work. It WILL NOT work for 1/2 or 1/3 filled.2. So I measured 1 full cup of pellet was about 0.114 lb which makes about 17 cooking/smoking per 2 lbs of bag.And $15 for 2 lbs of bag is extremely expensive in my opinion - even if it has the perfect smoky flavor..
