Keeps water cool in summer, the reservoir shape suits a dogs snout comfortably for a dog w a medium to long snout. Hangs on belt nicely, not as clunky as others do. I love this.

This is the best portable watering device I have used. It's durable yet super lightweight, doesn't waste water, and is easy for dogs to drink from. Only issue is cap is prone to cross-threading and water will spill out when tilted. I imagine designers faced limitations when coming up with a cap that wouldn't injure a dog's tongue and also provide a sufficient means to screw on.

I love the idea but this product is super cheaply made. It didn’t even last 1-2 days. The first day I tightened the lid, mind you snug not over the top, the threading came off... at first, though maybe I accidentally cross threaded and tightened it even softer, it held. The next day, same issue, but even harder to tighten correctly without loosing the lid. You can tell from the picture it’s cheaply made. By day 3 it would not even hold a seal. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DON’T BUY!!

This bottle is stainless steal with a leak proof lid. The lid has a rubber gasket that makes it spill proof when attached. The awesome part about the lid is that you can use it to give your pup a drink and it pours excess water perfectly back into the bottle when your pup has had enough. If your debating on it just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.I would recommend and purchase again!

This bottle is cleverly made so that the top becomes the water dish. Left over water can be dumped back into the bottle, if desired. Very well made, which is expected from Kong.

The bowl-shaped lip is great and my dog loves the concept. But what my dog doesn’t know is that the bottle could have easily been double-walled for insulation (pretty much all steel water bottles are so why not this one? Are dogs not worthy of chilled water?), that no matter how much I clean it the steel part of the bottle it continues to leave a ring of some residue or other contact transfer in the bottom of the bowl, i.e. the part of the lid that goes around/swaddles the bottle. I doubt that makes for the cleanest drinking water. And it’s generally made from very poor materials, brittle plastic and metal that dents and warps easily (the recessed bottom of mine has popped out on one side, making it barely able to stand on even surfaces and only very wobbly so. Are the materials even food-grade safe?

The KONG H2O Stainless Steel Dog Water Bottle are well made with the exception of the new style lid/bowl are not as easy to tighten down and keep from leaking as the old style. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, the lid is easy to strip.

I bought one a yr ago my parents have been looking for one. I got a spare as well.... The water stays cool when I put the bottle in my backpack. The dog can drink out of the lid well bc it acts a small bowl. It's very convenient.

Der Trinkbecher könnte etwas größer sein, so muss man beim trinken (Labrador) drei bis vier Mal nachschütten. Preislich meiner Meinung nach etwas zu teuer.

With the eldest moving 10hrs away to north of Scotland (was it something we said?), we decided to get a couple of Thermos flasks to help us get through the journey and make service station stops brief. We always take our Lab/Staffy-x with us and it was getting to be a pain taking a bottle and bowl (I know, first world problems).So looked around for an alternative and this seemed to get good reviews, plus Kong has been a reliable brand. She loves it. She gets excited now when we get our flasks, and her flask, out for a day trip in the Bongo (not got around to hooking up the gas yet). I've since tried bowls of water but nope, she wants a drink from her flask, not that water bowl that DOGS use.The bottle hasn't leaked yet and fits nicely in a side-back on a rucksack, plus has a clip. Although a largish dog, she has no trouble drinking from the lid and and water left can be easily poured back into the bottle if getting refills on your journey may be tricky. Important note from my husband - make sure you KNOW that the wife tips left over water back into the bottle before you take a swig.Only improvement is it could be tartan so she fits in better with other nerds.
