I don’t climb, I don’t rescue people from caves or trees, I’m just a guy who using rigging for various things, sometimes even safety-critical loads. My experience is with stuff from Petzl, Black Diamond, BlueWater, etc., so I know how good gear should feel and perform. And this thing is just a brilliant piece of kit. Very secure, and very fast deployment. It’s nice having something that auto-locks with no finger manipulation needed when under a heavy load. It’s just hits the contact point, clicks, and holds tight. Good stuff.

This checked the boxes for me. It's clipped to a pack and holds everything from dog leashes to DSLRs with long lenses. I might just buy another one.

Great for dog owners that want something stronger than a normal dog leash clip. The only thing that I would complain about is the description - the color is listed as black, but the one in the picture is red and silver. I, and a few others have received a black and orange clip. If there are multiple colors, why not list the various colors? Or, if there's only black and orange - change the description and picture?

I work in motion picture production and I first saw this clip being used by my 1st AC to secure his Bartec follow focus around his chest. I immediately thought of a dozen uses for it and ordered one right away. Right now, I am using it underwater to quickly secure a large DSLR to my BC vest underwater. With one hand I can very quickly pop the clip to the D ring on the vest and let go of the camera. When I want to shoot I just reach up and pull it off. Although it's not designed for underwater, after eight dives in salt water I see no signs of corrosion.

This product is so nice that the only thing I could think of changing is the size of the product tag! No frayed strap ends. Impeccable stitching. Highest quality hardware (Carabiner 783.100 and Quickdraw Frog 704.000) I have not yet had to test its kN limits, but I have confidence that this apparatus could catch my fat a@@.

Advancing age and declining health mean no more climbing, but for industrial confined space rescue and training, this device is hard to beat!Too many pros and not enough cons to comment on!
