Not compression at all. My kid is on the smaller end so size S was already a little big, he wears a size 7 normally. but I needed white underwear for baseball pants and there weren’t a lot of options. The waist fits okay but I have to roll the waist band by flipping it down to have the crotch sit in place. And the legs are super baggy on him. He would have to be huge for these to fit snuggly. Buy then I’m not sure the waist would be comfortable. On the up side, he’ll be able to wear them for a few years for baseball season. Due to the large fit the cup moved around and it’s going to stay in place so I don’t have him wear it.

Per my son. The shorts are comfy and don’t ride up. I have a spare, and I can easily find my protector because it is atomic green.Parent remarks: 2x pairs helps with contingency. The green cup is awesome when you need to find it in a jiffy. Affordable protection to safeguard your little dude.

Got these for my eight year old son who is 75 pounds. They worked well last season but on the tight side in the waist. He has a very slim waist and towards the end of the season, it would leave deep marks on his waistband after a game.
