Just what I needed.We ordered these to repair/cover a spot where our dogs chewed on a door. Instead of replacing the door, this was a MUCH cheaper fix. We actually ordered two kick plates, and we installed them on both sides of the door. They were easy to install, and they actually look really nice. (Much better than the hole lol) The kickplate is actually a decent thickness. Our problem was solved!

This looks great, but the corners do not want to stick. Every other day, the corners are curling away from the door and I'm having to press them back down.

Great find!My door is 30" and it was hard to find the plate for this size. I was able to cut this one precisely to the size of my door with scissors, it stuck on real good, I'm glad I found this

I should have known as soon as I saw this item was curled up and packed in a small box. It states on the directions that it will uncurl itself once the backing comes off and it is applied to the surface. Let me tell you that it does NOT. Even with the strong adhesive, the edges keep coming up and does not look flat due to the nature of the material, which isn't high quality. Unfortunately, I had to keep this item as I needed it for an open house the next day, and had to add some small nails to the corners. Look for a better made, solid kick plate, not this one.
