It definitely works great in charging vmount batteries. No issues in over heating. Charges fairly fast.

Charges nice and fast for the price. The plastic piece at the end of the charger was a little lose but doesn't affect the charging at all.

I use this to charge my V mount Soonwell 98W Hr battery. Fast charge and the power adapter has a light indicator, so I know when the battery is done charging. Great charger overall.

DTap chargers and batteries can get expensive. This charger is reasonably priced and will irk with V-Mount, and Gold Mount.Has a smart charger, so it automatically shuts down.Very happy.
