I just finally replaced my old and cracked clear chair mat. I did a fair amount of research of the options on Amazon and decided on this one. Just arrived and unpacked it today and it really is a nice heavy duty high quality mat. It is a little bit longer than the one I had, which I like, but significantly narrower. For some reason, they decided to make this mat only 32 inches wide, which is a little narrower than the other mats that I looked at. I think if they had made this mat just a few inches wider, say 36 inches, it would be perfect. I can live with it as is, but my wheels on the chair keep coming right up to the edge of the mat on the sides. I am happy such a high-quality mat and I'm willing to deal with the narrow width although I would consider upgrading if they ever made a wider version. Why be so cramped behind your desk from a too narrow chair mat.........right?

Truly I expected a thin (and cheaply made) mat. I am (so far) pleasantly surprised at how well it is holding up, though. I figured I'd give it a try being it is shipped in a flat box...opposed to rolled up as so many come. As such, it was very easy to place and hasn't slid/moved at all. I will update my review if things change, but for now it's a 5-star and good value.

I hate to admit it, but I’m the typical American and my weight puts a lot of stress on chair mats. I really like the thick solid chairmats, but the thickest ones do not have the little grippers and my mats end up moving all over the place throughout the day. Tired of constantly readjusting the Matt I ordered this one. I have very low pile carpet, but I need something that can handle a very heavy person with a very heavy chair and stay in place all day long. This mat arrives in a flat box so you do not have to unroll it and wait for it to flatten out. It is crystal clear and looks really good, and is thick enough to not bend under the heavy weight of me sitting in my office chair. The grippers are large enough for my low pile carpet to prevent the mat from shifting as I move around throughout the day. But there is one thing that really stands out as a massive positive for this chair mat, and that is the edges. If one of the wheels of my chair rolls off of the mat, I can easily roll back onto the mat without getting up out of the chair. This makes it very comfortable to move around on the mat and not have to worry about my chair getting stuck on the edge. That alone makes this mat worth purchasing. Only time will tell how durable this is, but it feels thick enough that it will last. I feel this is a great value for the price and I am extremely happy with how well my chair rolls across the mat as well as when it slips off of the mat.

Firm, so it has to be shipped in a giant box. Not apartment mail system friendly. But it is a good quality mat.

Great product. The mat is about the right size for a little bit of back and forth to get in and out of the desk, and for your feet not to be off the front edge.I'm 16 stone and it doesn't feel like it's bending too much.

Excellent solution for my medium pile office carpet. The castors glide freely on this thick mat which has deep studs that hold it in place. About to buy a second one for my husband’s side of the office. Really happy on initial results. The best bit? It arrives well packaged and completely flat. Perfect!
