Prefect fit ride quality is so much better then the old worn out shocks ride great with some weight in the bed or hauling a trailer.

Bought these along with the corresponding front shocks for my 99 Silverado with original shocks! What an improvement! Soaks up bumps with ease, corners much more level and doesn't nose dive or squat on heavy acceleration. 10 ply E rated 33's on my unlifted regular cab short bed was not a good combo on the old shocks, with these, the ride is comfy yet firm. If you are in the market for shocks and Bilsteins are just out of your price range, these will make a great alternative. Very happy and never once wished I sprang for the Bilsteins!

Instructions are in foreign languages. Zero instructions with diagrams in English. Zip ties are included in box but do not come compressed like any other strut I have purchased in the past. Red paint has scratches on the strut after opening in the box. Hoping these would suffice for factory looking Z-71 shocks on a low mileage 2004 Silverado. Disappointed. Don’t recommend from instructions and aesthetics.

These are good heavy duty shocks, that ride firm and handle very well. My only complaint is that the bushings are not as substantial as the oem Bilsteins on the 1/2 ton Z71s. I would prefer an oem style boot, also. For the cost savings over the Bilstein shocks, these are a good alternative. I've installed these on three trucks now. They are many times better than the cheap shocks that the 2500HDs come with, and a good cost saving option for 1500 Z71s.

Replaced OEM shocks on my '02 Z-71. Don't see much difference. They were touted as performance shocks, better than the OEMs. My suggestion is to just buy the OEM if you are looking to restore original ride and handling.

Very stiff. Perfect for my CUCV (M1010) definitely recommend, feels like a new truck. Handles the extra weight very well. Getting a 2nd set for my other CUCV (M1031)
