The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

to be fair, i did buy this brand on price,(really wanted Koni)however, i had already fitted a set of these KYB's to a C3 corvette earlier this year, - and they are working very well !!so, thought i'd give a set a go on my '68 charger, these KYB's are velocity sensitive, i would have bought Monroe Sensatracs if i could get them, based on past experience with them- but you can't get 'em anymore it seems, - things changes....... so these KYB's are the next thing, i'd recommend them, - and they are not an expensive option to try....

Bought these to replace the original units. They work well and adjust to the road conditions. Very good original replacement item.

Had a pair of Monro on my 69 charger for probably 10 years plus. So it was time to change them out went with these kyb and within one year one of them blew out so I purchased a new replacement shock in the 13th month that one lasted a total of 2 months and it's already leaking fluid. Doesn't appear to be leaking at the seals but at where the eyelet and the shock are assembled probably poor welding won't be buying these again and it's too much aggravation to send them back my time is more valuable than that stay away, they're not worth it.

Love the ride...but hated the install...most gas shocks are "tied" in the collapsed position for easier install. Collapsing these to fit was more difficult than it had to be. But all in all...great ride quality.

Installed on my 69’ Plymouth GTX, All the fluid leaked out within an hour of driving for both sides, (bought a set from Summit initially that one leaked as soon as I installed it!) not a little or minor leak, I initially thought that I had a brake line leaking as all the fluid poured out! Returned all of them. These had good reviews online, and KYB is a known reputable brand, however it is clear Quality Control has fallen short lately.

Excellent shocks. Better fit that the 30+ year old Gas-Adjust shocks they are replacing (smaller body diameter). Fit my 50 year old car perfectly. Car is not yet running so can’t speak to ride improvement yet

The front shocks leaked out all of their oil after letting the car down off of the jack stands. Then one of them bound up so tight I had to cut the grommet off to give me enough room to slide it up and off
