Exact part and fit for my 2005 Lexus RX330 - cost fraction of the price from the auto repair shop I used which allowed me to purchase my own parts and bring them in for install only. It has been installed for about 1 year with no issues and cannot tell any difference from the drastically overpriced OEM equivalent that the dealership quoted me.

The metal seat, which sits on top of the spring, is robust and fine. The rubber/neoprene seat which sits between it and the spring is very insubstantial. It's just a thin donut. There is plenty of chance for metal-to-metal contact over time. On my Sienna, I cut off the part of the OEM strut boot/bellow below the top of the spring. Mine were ripped which made that part a no brainer. This left an OEM top seat which is thicker and a much better application, as it wraps around the top of the spring, and the spring impressions also help line everything up.

I am very disappointed in the handing of this product because it was shipped as one piece when i called the shipper i was told that they are not responsible for the error made by amazon because amazon displayes it as two pieces but the shipper said its one piece only and it does not have the bolts inner part to lock the the strut or the boot. i kept it because i did not want to be bothered

I replaced worn struts on my 2002 Toyota Camry LE V6 at 100k miles, and although I don't see how a coil spring seat would ever fail, I decided to replace all of the strut components anyway. Maybe it could warp, not making proper contact with the bearings and strut mount, who knows. This coil spring seat (sits above the spring) comes with an insulator (a rubber ring that sits between the top of the spring and the coil spring seat). This design is slightly different from the original Toyota OEM strut (the OEM design has the insulator continuous with the boot, as one piece). The KYB replacement part works just fine though. No noises! This is for one side only. Buy two of these if you need to replace both struts in the front. When in doubt, check KYB's site and catalog directly for product compatibility to your car: [...]

Doesn't get better than this. Received on time and waited until I had all parts on hand to replace the mount, bearings, spring seats and boots for both sides of my 1999 Lexus RX300. After dis-assembly of the struts, it took a few try's to line up the spring compressor at the perfect angle to drop everything together and tighten it up. The spring seat was a little different than OEM due to no spring indent on the rubber and the metal seat did not have the arrow pointing to the front of the strut. Still no issues with this part.

Arrived on time. Easy to install while replacing struts and associated parts. My old seats were in good shape, so these don't really need to be replaced as much as the strut mounts, which include an integrated rubber bushing and bearing.

Arrived on time and were a great replacement for the worn out ones I took off. Will use again with the next strut replacement I do.
