I didn't even realize that my strings had a low G until I was installing them. What a nice surprise. These strings sound wonderful on my cigar box tenor ukulele

The other review wasn't kidding about how short these were. After tying the shortest end knots I could manage, there was only enough for 4-5 wraps around the tuner on the other end!The strings sound good.Then one of them broke at the knot, and because the strings were so extremely short, I couldn't re-tie it to string it again, because there was no excess left even though I hadn't cut anything off. So I had to re-use an old classical guitar nylon string...But jeez, the packaging is so fancy, can you at least make all the strings 3 inches longer?

I got a cheap tenor uke as a gift. Strings that came with it were predictably awful. I tried aquila "lava" strings on it but they made the uke sound "brittle." I was looking for a deeper, mellow sound. These Labella strings are perfect for that deeper, full sound you hear from the pro players with way more expensive ukes.Strings are pretty inexpensive, so maybe try several.... But for sure give these strings a try. You won't be disappointed.
