The tradition of string making dates back to the 1640s in Salle, Italy, where the Mari family supplied gut strings to the famous violin builders of Cremona. In 1913, brothers Olinto & Emilio Mari arrived in New York bringing their family craft to the States. After trying four or five different sets of strings, found these to sound and play the best. My guitar is a Cordoba c10. Strings remain in tune, have sufficient volume, and the treble strings are slicker than others strings I’ve tried.

I used to use Savarez as they have great volume and projection but created too much fret noise. I've found the LaBella 2001s to be a good alternative. They create a nice tone and reasonable amount of volume and projection. They stay in tune as well as any classical string once they stretch for a few days. They last pretty well and I've not had one break in the case as was moderately common with the Savarez strings. They are generally nearly half the price of Savarez.

La Bella 2001 Medium Tension Classical Guitar Strings are very flexible and gentleto the touch. The Nylon 202 used for treble strings and Silver-plated bass stringsgive a good balance-sound and greater projection and responsiveness.The medium tension is a very good choice for ease of playing.

These strings sounded good, very similar to D'addario ProArtes. They just never stabilized for me. Even as I could see fret wear on the wrap (one week in!) they never would stay in tune longer than a few hours. I tied knots with four twists and tied at the post. I've never had these issues before over savarez, d'addario, augustine or martin strings.

Compre estas cuerdas por recomendación de una página web. Soy nuevo en esto de las guitarras y mi guitarra es una guitarra económica. Su sonido era poco dulce y se desafinaba continuamente. Cuando cambie a las cuerdas La Bella todo cambió. Ahora suena mucho mejor y no se desafina tan rápido. Después de las cuerdas también le cambie el puente y la cejilla por unas hueso que le dieron un cambio radical a mi guitarra. Estas cuerdas son una buena compra para quienes quieren unas cuerdas suaves, que no desafina y que mejoran el sonido del instrumento.

La Bella Classical Guitar StringsI've been using La Bella most of my life - they're fairly inexpensive and have a nice warm sound. The medium tension is forgiving for hobby guitarists (you know who you are - you really upped your skillz during covid and have started slacking off again). The thickness (slight but they're not XL) makes them a bit more durable and less prone to breakage. Worth the price and will always buy again.

I strung these on a solid spruce topped Alhambra. They are a lovely sounding string and probably the best strings I have fitted to this 15 year old guitar. Yes, they are slightly more expensive than a lot of strings but worth it for the lovely tone. If longevity is good I will definitely buy again, time will tell.

Le corde della chitarra son qualcosa di personale, ogni strumento necessita di corde diverse, ogni chitarrista apprezza e ricerca sonorità diverse, quindi non mi soffermerò al "come suonano", perchè è troppo soggettivo, ma cercherò di soffermarmi sui parametri più oggettivi. (in generale a me piace anche il suono, comunque: caldo, ma non impastato... piuttosto equilibrato il suono tra le diverse corde, anche se, ovviamente, non dipende dalle sole corde!)Le ho apprezzate per (dati oggettivi), note di lettura suono un'oretta 4/5 volte a settimana e sono tutto meno che un chitarrista bravo/serio!1) velocità di assestamento: in poche ore (circa 3) si sono stabilizzate, tanto come accordatura quanto voce (per le prime 2-3 ore il suono non mi piaceva molto)2) tenuta dell'accordatura: dopo le primissime ore hanno smesso di calare e hanno mantenuto l'accordatura anche per giorni prima che fosse necessario ritirarle un pochino3) la disponibilità di tante diverse tensioni, ce ne sono davvero per ogni strumento e ogni preferenza4) durata: oltre a tener bene l'accordatura, tengono bene anche il suono abbastanza a lungo (per la mia esperinza)... a me stanno iniziando a cedere dopo un paio di mesi che sono su. Diciamo che coi ritmi che ho io, da amatore, una muta dura tranquillamente tra i due e i tre mesi mantenendo buona qualitÃ
