Wider blade than a regular table knife; great for spreading peanut or almond butter, jelly, sandwich spreads, butter , etc. easy to HAND clean.

As a retired pharmacist, I used to mix different creams and ointments. It was more common back in the 1970’s, when I started working. When I left the profession, I forgot to bring home my favorite spatula. I didn’t really miss it until recently when I started to compound a special cream for my wife by mixing 4 different creams. No drug company makes a cream with all 4 of the ingredients I want, so I make my own. I use parchment paper on top of a magazine to mix the creams, but had to use a kitchen knife or silicone spatula, neither of which is right for the job. This thin metal spatula is flexible, but also stiff enough to be able to blend creams of different consistencies. I wish I had gotten a slightly narrower one, or at least one that tapered a bit at the tip. It’s easier to scrape the resulting compound into the jar I got from a local pharmacy with a narrower spatula.I haven’t used it yet, but I’m looking forward to making the next batch of her “itch cream”. It should be easier and less messy with a spatula designed to do what I need it to do.

If u make candles, this is PERFECT for stirring in your fragrances 💯🤸🏾‍♀️👍🏽I used a long spoon forever but started feeling it wasn't blending that well. This spatula completely solved the problem. It's long, sturdy, blends well and is very comfortable to hold - so no problem stirring for the required 2 minutes. Also noticed my hot throw has improved after switching to this spatula. Would highly recommend!

The descriptions of the spatula lengths were either unavailable or confusing. I wound up getting spatulas that were way too long and I am in the process of returning all 4.
