I decided to try the black on clear tape Tze cartridges for use in printing for name badges. Using the .94 inch labels. These labels work well and are easy to remove the backing. The clear tape makes the background of the badge visible leading to a neat appearance. Recommended.

Although this is an off brand from what is recommended, they work excellent. I live in the north and I use them to label my plants. They hold up to our cold northern weather.

Label tape is expensive. I bought a 4-pack of .7â€, black ink on white tape. The first roll worked fine for about 1/3 of the roll, then it jammed & when I tried to pull it free, the black ink part of the tape came out, stuck to the white part. I’ve dealt with label makers for many decades & never encountered this issue before. I had to throw the roll away. Just to make sure it wasn’t a labeler issue, I put in other tapes (different brands) and everything worked perfectly. When I had used up all of the different brand of tape, I opened a new Labelife role. It printed about 2 feet of label perfectly & then the exact same thing happened! I have to throw another roll away!! I tried to contact the manufacturer before writing this review to see if they would be willing to replace the 2 rolls, but the website “could not be found.†All bad!

I really wanted to love this product. It came in very nice packaging and initially looked good. Unfortunately while this does print and is accepted by the printers, it does have continual printing flaws because the black ribbon in the cartridge creases/folds in on itself and i even had one catch the ink tape and ruin the cartridge 3 labels in (it was not salvageable). This happened with all 4 cartridges. I believe the ink tape part of this is too thin to function properly. This was tested over multiple printers.

I love these tapes. They look and feel the same as from Brothers. They are easy to be peeled off too. I will definitely buy them again.

Price was good but tape didn’t work as shown in the picture. It came out apart. The second roll so far has been ok but the first one was fine at first too .
